LogPile – wood fuel and wood fuel equipment database

LogPile is the National Energy Foundation’s online database designed to help the general public find suppliers of wood fuel (logs, pellets, etc) and wood fuel equipment (stoves, boilers, etc).

The database – and the accompanying web pages on using wood as a fuel – was originally launched in 2002, since when it developed a reputation as a prime source of information on wood fuel and equipment suppliers.

A revamped and improved version was launched in April 2015. Members of the public are able to search for both wood fuel AND equipment suppliers in one place – by place/postcode and a whole range of other criteria such as the type of boiler or stove, the type of logs, and how they’re supplied. Suppliers are able to register themselves on the database and keep their listings up-to-date.
